Detailed Notes — Bishop Craft’s Message (Part 2)

True Agape Christian Church — Athens, GA
Topic: God Is Our Source: Understanding Prosperity & Responding to the Word
Date: Wednesday Bible Class — July 27, 2025
Speaker: Bishop Clifford Craft

Central Theme

Bishop Craft continues to teach that God is the source of all provision, wealth, and success — and that believers must renew their minds, watch their words, and respond in faith to receive what God has already made available.
He strongly emphasizes that the power to prosper is already within you, and that prosperity is a byproduct of obedience, agreement, and proper response to God’s Word.

Key Scriptures

Proverbs 10:22
“The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it.”

  • “The blessing is what you should be running after — not the hustle.”

  • “God has already released the blessing, but you block it with your mouth.”

2 Peter 1:3
“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness…”

  • “This means it’s already been given — you ain’t waiting on it!”

  • “Quit asking for what’s already yours.”

3 John 2
“I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

  • “You don’t prosper unless your soul does. If your mind stays small, your money will too.”

Proverbs 11:24–25
“One gives freely yet gains more… A generous person will prosper…”

  • “Don’t be scared to give. God multiplies generosity.”

  • “Your giving life determines your receiving life.”

Direct Quotes from Bishop Craft

  • “There’s a reason some people go to church 20 years and still broke — because they never respond to the Word.”

  • “If you sit under good teaching and you don’t say nothing, the spirit world thinks you don’t want it!”

  • “The devil loves when you stay silent in church. He knows silence is agreement with your condition.”

  • “You need to start talking back to the Word. Say, ‘That’s mine! I receive that! I want that!’”

  • “God will never override your silence.”

  • “Stop having mouth amnesia in church and then wonder why nothing changed.”

  • “You don’t prosper by osmosis. You prosper by agreement.”

  • “You sitting there like you don’t want it, but I’m praying every day for your life to get better. Say something!”

Teaching Highlights

On Agreement

  • You can’t receive what you don’t agree with.

  • “If I say, ‘You’re healed,’ and you just sit there, that’s not agreement.”

  • “Faith doesn’t just sit. Faith responds.”

On Mind Renewal

  • Your outside life can’t change until your inside life does.

  • “You can’t think broke and live wealthy.”

  • “You’ve got to reprogram your inner software.”

On Provision

  • God doesn’t work with pity; He works with principle.

  • “Your checkbook will stay the same until your faithbook changes.”

  • “God is not a welfare system — He’s a covenant keeper.”

How We Block the Blessing

  • “You say you want increase but your mouth keeps announcing lack.”

  • “We block miracles every day because we talk against what we pray for.”

  • “You can’t beg in prayer and then deny it in conversation.”

Application Points

What To Do:

  1. Speak in agreement with the Word.

    • Say it out loud: “I receive the blessing. I am wealthy in Christ.”

  2. Respond to the Word in the moment.

    • Don’t wait — say “Amen,” “I receive it,” or stand up in agreement.

  3. Practice generosity.

    • Give freely and in faith — God multiplies what you sow.

  4. Reprogram your mind.

    • Use scriptures daily to uproot scarcity thinking.

  5. Correct your confession.

    • No more “I can’t afford.” Say instead, “I’m on my way to overflow.”

Closing Charge

“Say this with me: I agree with God. I agree with the Word. And I agree with my blessing!”
(Congregation repeats after him several times.)

Bishop ended by praying that the people would not only hear the Word but move into action, respond boldly, and stop blocking their own breakthrough.
